Headteacher’s welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to Allscott Meads Primary and Nursery.

‘Our Community, Our School’

Allscott Meads Primary and Nursery opened in September 2023 and is part of the Learning Community Trust’s family of academies.

At Allscott Meads Primary and Nursery, we work extremely hard to ensure that we are a caring, welcoming, and inclusive academy where each child is nurtured and supported in reaching their full potential.

Our curriculum has been designed with a community focus at its heart, we ensure rich, purposeful, and equitable opportunities for all our pupils. In doing so we prepare the children for their lifelong learning journey, within and beyond our gates.

Central to Allscott Meads Primary and Nursery curriculum provision are our core values of: Kindness, Belonging, Respect, Inspiration, Success and Enjoyment. These values are interwoven across our curriculum to ensure the children are provided with clear and consistent messages. We believe this instils our positive ethos of, ‘Our Community, Our School,’ which lies at the heart of everything we do.

All our staff invest in each child’s life-long learning potential, and we believe that fostering positive relationships with parents and pupils is central to the success of our inclusive and focussed approach. Our open culture encourages supportive communication which is crucial to involving all parents in the educational journey of their child.

We are immensely proud of our warm and welcoming community and look forward to many happy years working together ensuring the children learn, thrive, and enjoy sharing their continued success with us.
