Parent Communications

At Allscott Meads Primary, our main platform for communication is via email for children in KS1 and KS2. All our academy letters are sent via email for Parent/ Carer convenience. For children in our EYFS, we have the online platform, Tapestry.  

 

When a child starts at Allscott meads, Parents/ Carers sign a school form to agree to share posts on Tapestry. This is an app through which Parents/ Carers can communicate information about their child. This includes sharing videos, photographs, observations and other relevant information. Parents/ Carers can also access their child’s Online Learning Journal.  

 

Allscott Meads’ Instagram is used by the academy to share news and details of special events that have taken place that we wish to celebrate. We also share a monthly newsletter that details all the recent events and activities that have taken place in school, this also provides further information and forwards dates for Parent’s/ Carer’s diaries.
